This tour will take you around all the Spanish forts in the area of Ancud. Fuerte San Antonio is found right in the town of Ancud. Fuerte Ahui and Faro Corona are in the Lacuy Peninsula and the trip going there is picturesque.

Chepu is located in the north side of the National Park of Chiloé. It has wetlands, rivers, impenetrable forests, and special wildlife like pudus, river otters. The place is perfect to relax or to do some kayaking or trekking.

When you book this tour, you will get to know the least visited, least well known but incredibly special part of Chiloé.
We will start our trip driving along the east
coast of the island, along the inland sea. We’ll visit the town of Quemchi
first, a little fishing village. Close by is a very special island that is
exclusively used as a cemetery, called Aucar. A bit further on, we’ll find a
hidden waterfall, called Tocoihue. The back drop of the biggest waterfall of
Chiloé, gives the whole area is a special feel. Now, we’re really in the land
of mythological creatures and ancient traditions.
We drive further on to the villages of Tenaún
where we will see one of the several churches, that are classified as National
Heritage by UNESCO. Its blue colour and recent renovation make it one of the
most beautiful churches of the island.

Spend a day in Guabún and learn how to cook chilote food. You can see how the cows are milked and all the other animals, chickens, sheep, pigs, horses, cats and dogs, are fed. The house is set in a beautiful plot of land close to the beach and the “sendero de Chile” (Chile’s official trekking routes).
